Vintage Hawaiian fabric G.V.H. Hawaiiprint

PLEASE read descriptions thoroughly and note the MEASUREMENTS BEFORE purchasing. Measures 2 yards + 10" long x 42" wide -- This is a rare vintage GVH (Gunter Von Hamm for HawaiiPrint textiles) fabric with flying cranes and Japanese waves. The surface is a satin weave, the fiber is polyester. Large 24" repeat. Light weight and would work for a blouse or lingerie.
Ground color is a warm cream off white. The waves are sketched or drawn in a grey hue. Most of the Cranes are a Kona brown with a few that are black. Crane wing span is 4.5 inches. They are mostly flying in the direction of the upper left selvage as shown in photos -- with some upside down. Please use the photos to see the pattern direction.
I have matched the colors and hues as close to original as possible. The close up photos are scans of the actual fabric. Excellent condition.
The last photo shows how all fabric orders leave my shop -- -- perfect for fabric gifting - neatly folded and tied with ribbon, wrapped in vintage pattern paper and topped with a vintage ephemera or playing card.

Most items are in limited quantity due to uniqueness and their "hard to find" factor. What is listed is usually all I have in stock so if you love it, buy it cause with vintage I can't reorder.
